Tap on a module to expand details.
| Lesson | Description | Icon | Skill | Pro Tip |

| Grid & Composition | Turning on the grid lines to master the Rule of Thirds for aesthetic lifestyle shots. We break down why off-center subjects always look more interesting than centered ones. | :icon-grid-3x3: | Composition Basics | Turn on your camera grid in Settings. Place your subject where two grid lines cross — not in the middle! |
| Lighting for Selfies | Finding window light, using reflectors, and mastering the golden hour without expensive gear. Learning how the direction and quality of light completely transforms a portrait. | :icon-sun: | Natural Lighting | Sit facing a window with the light on your face — never have the window behind you, it will silhouette you! |
| 0.5x Perspectives | Using the ultra-wide lens for edgy, fun perspectives and dynamic sports shots. This is the secret weapon behind most viral social media photography right now. | :icon-expand: | Creative Angles | Switch to 0.5x and get really close to a subject — the distortion creates a dramatic, editorial look. |
| Color Grading | Introduction to free apps like Lightroom Mobile and Snapseed to achieve a consistent, signature color grade across your entire feed. Your aesthetic is your brand. | :icon-sliders-horizontal: | Photo Editing | Find a preset you love and save it as a custom preset — apply it to every photo for a cohesive feed. |
| Silhouettes | Shooting against bright backgrounds to create dramatic, moody profiles. This is one of the most powerful storytelling techniques in photography and requires zero equipment. | :icon-sunset: | Exposure Control | Tap on the bright sky in your camera app to expose for it — your subject will go dark and moody. |

| --- | --- | --- |
| Does my child need their own device? | No! If you don't have a device, Miss Megan provides tablets for in-class use. If you do have a phone or iPad at home, bringing it means your child can practise between sessions. | :icon-smartphone: |
| What age is truly the right starting age? | Children as young as 5 participate in the Little Snappers program with great success. The curriculum is completely adapted by age group — a 5-year-old and a 10-year-old are never in the same class. | :icon-users: |
| Do I need any photography experience? | Absolutely zero experience is required at any level. Every single course starts from the very basics and builds from there. Many adult students have never used anything beyond auto mode — that's perfectly fine. | :icon-shield-check: |
| What apps will we use — are they free? | We primarily use Snapseed and Lightroom Mobile — both are 100% free. For the teens and adults advanced programs, we explore a few paid apps, but free alternatives are always provided. | :icon-app-window: |
| How large are the classes? | A maximum of 8 students per class. This is non-negotiable and ensures every student gets personal attention, immediate feedback, and a supportive learning environment. | :icon-users-round: |
| Can I get a refund if we can't make it work? | Yes. A full refund is available within the first session if the class isn't the right fit. After that, credits can be transferred to a future term. Miss Megan wants every family to feel confident enrolling. | :icon-badge-check: |
