Hi there! I'm Miss Megan — a professional photographer and educator who has been capturing big smiles and incredible moments for years. I have taught photography to kids and teens at the local Boys and Girls Club, through co-ops, and in private workshops, and watching a child see their world differently through a viewfinder is still my absolute favorite thing.
My Little Lenses course was born from those real classroom moments — built with the exact lesson plans, worksheets, card games, and activities I've used with real students. Everything in this course is tried, tested, and kid-approved!

Level 2 Photography Dictionary

| Aperture | Exposure | The opening inside your lens that controls how much light enters the camera. Measured in f-stops (like f/2.8 or f/16). |
| Shutter Speed | Exposure | How long the camera's sensor is exposed to light. A fast speed freezes action; a slow speed creates blur. |
| ISO | Exposure | The camera sensor's sensitivity to light. Low ISO = clean image. High ISO = brighter but grainy. |
| Bokeh | Portraits | The beautiful blur in the out-of-focus parts of a photo. A Japanese word for 'blur' or 'haze'. |
| Exposure Triangle | Exposure | The relationship between Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO. Change one and you affect the others! |
| Depth of Field | Portraits | How much of the photo is in sharp focus from front to back. Shallow = only subject sharp. Deep = everything sharp. |
| Rule of Thirds | Composition | A composition guideline where you divide the frame into a 3x3 grid and place your subject along the lines or intersections. |
| Leading Lines | Composition | Lines within the photo (like roads, fences, or shadows) that guide the viewer's eyes to the subject. |
| White Balance | Lighting | Adjusting the camera so that white objects look truly white in different lighting conditions. |
